Reflection.

By combining the experience of listening to the recording with a previous reading of the text, we can improve our fluency and clarity in the learning of the English vocabulary.

Non-native students show a willingness to interact with US culture, in this case by reading an audiobook. It is important to stay motivated and persevere in the task of mastering the language.

A language is essentially its lexicon, since grammar only determines how the vocabulary is used to produce messages.

For me, it is very important to feel comfortable, safe and calm, because the more I have confidence, the easier it becomes for me to adopt a culture through its language.

The new vocabulary I learned and I find valuable to share is:

- For good: permanently
- Endeavors: try hard to do or achieve something.
- By heart: by memory
- Clogged: block or become blocked with an accumulation of thick, wet matter.
- Had had: había tenido
- Sharp: raise the pitch of (a note)
- Bound: heading toward somewhere.
- Messy: untidy or dirty.
- Willing to: Dispuesto a
- Strapped: short of money.
- Neatly: in a neat way
- Ashamed: avergonzado

3.-A mischievous child seems to me a very intelligent child.

4. Cleaning the carpet is the most exhausting task in the home.

5. Learning English is a amusement activity, but it gets boring when you just have to read.

6. Watching a blizzard surely an incredible experience.

7. We can uncover a bottle of wine by twirling the lid.
